All I can say right now is, “Thank you Squarespace!” I woke up this morning to find out that Squarespace had refunded The Inveterate Veteran’s money and had donated its services for the next year to The Inveterate Veteran! While I am extremely grateful and humbled by this show of silent support by Squarespace (they just refunded the money without asking for anything in return), I am a big believer in paying it forward and helping others. Therefore, I’m asking for ideas on how The Inveterate Veteran can help veterans with the refunded money. Here are my top 5 ideas for what can be done with the money:
1) Donate the money to the Veterans Scholarship Endowment at George Mason University
2) Buy a veteran a new suit
3) Donate the money to cover some of the costs of buying college textbooks
4) Donate the money to support a VFW’s Buddy Poppy drive
5) Buy a veteran a new job professional kit (business card holder, portfolio, etc)
